The Jammer Wall

... is both really cool but also a complete nightmare!

Some things I really wish were implemented:

- post cap so the same Jammer cannot spam like 20-30 messages in a row while you're offline.

- a mass deletion option, to get rid of the troll/spam posts.

- letting owners of the wall post messages on the sidebar, so their wall rules or any other customized post don't get lost in the stream.

- preventing Jammers you have blocked from posting on your wall...

I like leaving my wall unlocked so fans can say hi and thank you and whatnot but wow I logged in today to 70 posts made between two Jammers who did nothing but troll and make demands of me while I was offline. Deleting all those messages one by one took forever and after I blocked them they continued to post on my wall. *facepalms*

And there is no convenient way to give AJHQ suggestions about improving features on the wall either.

So yeah, it's cool but also not cool if you're someone like me who gets tons of messages every day. I look forward to improvements in the future!

  1. i agree. the jammer wall would be better if it had features that allowed players to create (sidebar text, notifications) and enforce (kicking, banning, spam-blocking) their own rules. even then i wouldn't really be surprised if it were misused. i didn't really bother opening my jammer wall, even to buddies (it's an adopted account, so most are complete strangers).

also, whenever i send a suggestion to ajhq via e-mail, i get an obviously automatic form letter - "we love hearing from out jammers!" - that gives no sign of acknowledgement. oh, yeah, with a banner advertisement for membership/diamonds/spring bunnies/etc on the bottom. not too promising.

  3. My eight year old sister said you (firetigerx) were bullying her (1877karsforkids). But she has a history of lying and exaggerating about this kind of thing, did you interact with her at all? I don't play Animal Jam anymore but I think what you do is pretty cool and I don't see you as the type who would be mean for no reason. Thanks!

    1. Yeah she was one of the people spamming my wall (with love messages of all things) and when she wouldn't stop I had to block her. If not wanting people to troll and spam my wall is mean then oh well, how dare I not want to be harassed by people eh?

    2. Dear lord! No more Animal Jam in this house. Thanks for telling me!

    3. I interacted her today when I was at your den.

    4. What did she do, "Z"?

    5. She just talked to me and asked if firetiger was on. I told her she wasn't and she kept telling me I was firetigerx's sister since I knew that...

    6. Well, I turned her account to Bubble Chat but it is impossible to shut it off completely. AJHQ will not respond to my email and does not answer my calls. How do I deactivate it? Again, the username is 1877karsforkids if it's any help.

    7. If you were able to turn her chat to bubble chat only then you should be able to deactivate the account since it is also done through the parent's dashboard. Underneath the username should be a "disable" option for that user I think.

    8. It's was changed to Activeate/Deactiveate Web Account last I checked.

  4. AJHQ does stuff. But very little. All there moderators have one rule on what to look for. French. I don't feel like explaining it, but AJHQ only reviews chat that is in French.

    2. Once I went on a Spanish server, and there were a bunch of New Jammers who all looked exactly the same and did things at the same time. They kept screaming "SOMOS UNAS MOCHILAS", which I think means scam??

      Delete
    3. If it's Spanish, then I think it means "WE ARE SOME BACKPACKS" lol. Somos means "we are", unas means "some", and "mochilas" means "backpacks". So my guess is it means it's a random New Jammer crazy mob... hopefully. Hopefully.

    1. The trolls? Someone kept spamming messages for me to go to their den then later blaming me for them getting scammed/hacked and they said they would report me because i wasn't online to save them. *sighs*

The other person was leaving love messages, things like,"I love you, do you love me" etc. but each word was it's own post, so there was like 30+ posts.

Ugh, people are getting hacked left and right, why aren't you doing anything about it?

    3. What exactly am I supposed to do about it? I have semi-retired from catching scammers and hackers are another thing entirely. So please tell me? What exactly am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to stop people from having easy passwords or giving their passwords out? Or trying external programs that supposedly give rares but in reality only steal your log in information by the program creator?

How is it my responsibility to prevent Jammers from doing stupid things that compromise their accounts? Why is it my job to do all this when I can literally do nothing other than hit the report button on bad Jammers? WHAT EXACTLY AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT IT?!?!?!?!?!

And people keep asking me why I quit for two years. Jesus Christ.

  7. Guess dem scammers are less of a problem in de face of cyberbullies and trolls, eh?

  8. So either AjHq doesn't know what's going on, or they don't give a flying ffffffffffforklift that it's happening.

  10. Firetigerx, I went to your den a few minutes ago, and there was an army of clones there! All of them were "New Jammer"; all of them were named Major Majormajor; all of them were solid black with white round eyes and no patterns or clothing items; all of them moved around, danced, hopped and spoke at exactly the same time; and there were like 50 of them! Except one of them was "youreakidyoureasquid"; named Captain Strongpride; orange for the first color and white for the second with purple evil eyes and no patterns and a purple star cape; and they were standing at the front! I think he was their leader! They were only saying one thing, "are you duckling", and it was really creepy but also funny!

    1. That sounds like the most random party ever lol!

    2. Um...never mind it is no longer creepy and funny it is scary! My buddy found the army of clones in her den and then she glitched out! When she refreshed her page and tried to log in it showed her as a "New Jammer" and all her things were gone including her rares and betas and animals and gems and diamonds and achievements and her membership! And it says my password has been changed so I can't log in either! Help please we are freaking out!

    3. People don't get hacked easily unless they have an easy to guess password or tried and external program to get free rares or gems, or idk, give out their passwords. A lot of ppl get hacked because they don't protect their account like they should and not only can I NOT do anything to help them, but I kind of don't feel sorry for them.

Seriously protect your password like you would your life, and for godness sakes don't use external programs that make promises like rares or gems in Animal Jam because those kinds of programs are all fake and just exist to steal log in information. I can't feel sorry for people who do something stupid because they are greedy for rares...

    4. Not much you can do once de account is hacked. If you can, change all of your passwords, including for de parent dashboard. If you can't you've got to make a new one. Oh and by de way, Animal Jam has 256-bit AES security so dere isn't really any way to hack other people unless dey give you deir passwords or you guess deir passwords. So maybe you just have a glitch?

Firetigerx I agree and unfortunately even dough I once tried to do scam catching I bailed out because a lot of de scam victims don't really learn from deir mistakes which frustrates me a lot. I mean, if you go to a so-called giveaway in someone's den and de host says "trust me" and you say "it's a scam" den de people dere get mad at you and say "oh no this time is different they will never accept", and den of course de host does accept eventually and de victim BAWWWWWWWs...but den five minutes later de victim goes to another giveaway and does it all over again! It boggles my mind!

  11. hey fireigerx i have asked you if you could buddy me again because i got hacked and the person that hacked me deleted all my buddies and i have given you one jam o gram but you have not buddied me and its ok if you dont i understand.

    1. It's not possible for me to buddy every single person who asks. I also don't buddy strangers sorry. Also I've had some Jammers lately claim to be hacked then angrily spam my Jamaa-grams or wall demanding I do something about it when I can literally do nothing. I am certainly not going to buddy anyone who does that. And since you chose to go anonymous, I have no idea who you are anyway. *shrugs*

    2. FireTigerX, there has been alot of hacking lately, most people think it was done by BrokenJungle. The other day, there was a new secret room called Training, no one knew who discovered it and how, since you have to follow a buddy to get there. And it was the room you use for the modern tutorial, except with all the footprints lit up and lines across the screen. Once you got there you could not leave the room or log out unless you closed the web browser. It was really creepy and people were freaking out, nfact some of them were praying (I saw one person prayed to Morgan FreeMan, lol!). Anyways I am not sure if it effects normal accounts, but this year has been very bad for AnimalJam as far as hacking goes. Like the hacked Adventures, the Training room I mentioned earlier, and many many reports of accounts being hacked but none have been confirmed yet. So that's all I have to say, bye.

    3. I've never heard of that before but I wonder why hacking seems to be a problem with newer accounts. Regardless, unless anyone gets a recording of the actually hacking (or similar proof of someone being a hacker) then I really don't know what to do to help. The people having these problems need to constantly let AJHQ know that something is seriously wrong with the game.

    4. FireTigerX I agree and also, my friend was hacked once (but before you blame her, it was her little brother who entered her info into an item adder, those adders are evil!) and it was really, really hard to get back her account. Like it took months and months to recover it because her email she used to register it had been deleted so she had to reset her membership and schedule a phone call and it was all just crazy. I think but I don't know for sure that the New Jammers who are claiming to be hacked are actually just Scammer Jammers, because they lie about that so they can get free items, which is sad. That is all so bye again.

    5. The 'brokenjungle' thing was actually this user called WretchedJungle who was part of a hacking group who recorded footage of himself hacking a few other jammers on YT. I didn't believe it myself, but there you go.
Most of those who claim they were hacked ARE SCAMMERS. Don't listen to them.

    6. Sam AIBO, wow I didn't know that. That would be pretty awesome that he could do that hack so well, except he uses it for badness. Well, now that I think about all hacks are bad because they edit the game which is against the law I think and also it can ruin the game for everyone. And, also, it is so sad in my opinion that people do that and say they were hacked just so they get stuff. Because what if a little kid was playing it, and didn't know they were lying and thought the Scammer Jammer actually did get all of their stuff and gems stolen, so the little kid sent all their rares and stuff to them except the Scammer Jammer was in reality very rich and rare with 10000 gems and a ton of rares because they were never hacked at all? That would be very not nice even though it probably happens alot. Infact earlier before I saw a Bunny who was plain default colored with no clothes or anything just lying on the ground in the middle of Aldan and saying "HE GOT ME I LOST IT ALL PLEASE GIVE ME THINGS TO MAKE UP FOR IT" and she just had a table and rug and necklace on her trade list except I didn't see her den at first, since it was locked. Then I buddied her and went to her den and it was the huge Palace Den with all sorts of expensive Epic Wonder items, and Betas too like almost ten Cami's Frogs. So I went back to where she was and pointed out she had a lot of stuff in her den and she called me a liar and unlocked her den except this time switched it to the default den that was completely empty except a table and rug. So a bunch of people started to call me a meanie including her and she unbuddied and reported me for bullying. It was upsetting but, good news even though I got reported by a bunch of people I was not banned. And that is all so bye.
