A sigh of relief (or nor.... see update)

The bully blue54899 has been banned. Reporting bad Jammers does work. (Also emailing AJHQ with photographic evidence of death threats helps too.)



Good riddance.

Update: Turns out he wasn't banned after all, but just changed his username. He's still active on Animal Jam but I do not know his new username. I suspected the name change at first, but I was hopeful Animal Jam had actually did something to combat the cyberbullying going on throughout their game.

I am not surprised though, because that's what cowardly bullies do: run and hide rather than take responsibility for their actions, or heaven forbid, change for the better and apologize. He also has his friends hanging out in my den or trying to spam Jamaa-grams at me (which is easy to put an end to with a block).

    many states have laws against threats of bodily harm via the Internet, so depending on where you or blue54899 live, it could have become a real-life crime.

    I'd bet a fox hat his parents will write an angry e-mail to AJHQ to claim that his account was hacked and someone else was using it to do all those horrible things, and demand a membership refund.

    confession time...i used to belong to a scam team...

    you see, i was friends with a boy and two girls at my school, triplets, until they moved away.

    i kept in touch with them through aj, and one day they asked me to join their "friend club", which they called "ajkin". so i did. they got some of their new neighborhood's friends to join too, making at least ten of us total.

    it was fine at first. just discussing gameplay, and school, and messing around. we had scheduled "meetings" through skype, aj, and other chatrooms. we hosted big parties and roleplayed clans and packs. it was innocent and fun.

    but soon things changed. they started to cheat and steal and lie to anyone not in the club. ajkin was morphing into a scam group.

    we got "ranks" according to our abilities and experience. so i was "tactical lead". i had to come up with more ways to trick people.

    i was stuck. i hated scamming and wanted to leave, but they were my only friends. i stayed for about three months.

    then i told the "commander", the boy triplet, i wanted to leave and asked if we could still be friends. he said no and and skyped me hateful things. i was out of ajkin - and my friendship with the triplets - for good.

    i honestly can't remember their usernames, so i have no idea if ajkin still exists.

    but i still felt horrible. all the people i helped scam, they had feelings too, and i hurt them, for some rare pixels and manipulative "friends".

    i essentially killed my own aj. i gave away all my stuff, said goodbye to my buddies, went to my empty den and quietly cursed up a storm, resulting in an immediate infinite ban.

    i plan to rejoin aj under a new account, to help scam victims.

    anyways, i would like to formally apologize. to you, to scam victims, to everyone. i am sincerely sorry for everything i did and i take full responsibility.

    now you know.

      I personally feel this would have been more meaningful if you said your old username rather than sign it as anonymous, but as it is, thank you for your honesty and good luck in the future!

    I would like to notify you. That username is now a non-member account. It doesn't have the membership achievement(making it a totally new account) and it has one panda. Is there any connection? I don't know. Let's investigate. Reply your ideas.

      I don't know about investigating. I'm not out to hunt down anyone. I just wanted people to know that blue is still on Animal Jam and that if he is still being a bad Jammer and a bully, then they should be careful. If he's changed his name he probably just transferred his membership to the new username.

      I agree. Animal Jam is supposed to be a fun and safe place for children. Bullies are worse than scammers in my opinion because they hurt people in more ways than just taking their pixel items.

      Okay.. but the moderators are too immature to get him out. He is still on it and ppl are supporting your blog but letting him stay at the same time. They are also blindly banning others who have been falsely accused by Blue54899.
      Well. I will let you know his new username as soon as I find out. Thanks anyway.

      @firetigerx "Idk what I am supposed to do about it"? Force-feed him vegan brownies. Replace his carpeting with Lego pieces. Make him read the full version of My Immortal. The possibilities are endless, my friend, you just need to be creative.

    I knew blue personally because he joined my Scam Catching society. He later turned on me and even taught my sister some new swear words. Ever since, I'be suspected him of hacking and I am glad that you are aware of him. By the way, Im awsomewolfz745 on AJ X3

    ugh... i just got falsely accessed of being blue. (JUST BECAUSE MY USER NAME HAS BLUE IN IT DOESN'T MEAN I AM THAT PETTY LITTLE DUNCE). and now people are being absolute dillweeds to me :(
